1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the conditions under which TensaiRoutes wholesale SIP termination services ("Services") may be used. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the TensaiRoutes Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund of unused balance.

2. Permitted Use

The Services may be used only for:

  • Legitimate outbound voice termination to international destinations included in your assigned rate deck;
  • Resale of international voice termination to your own business customers, provided those customers are bound by terms no less restrictive than this AUP;
  • Internal business communications to supported international destinations.

3. Prohibited Uses

3.1 US Domestic and Interstate Traffic

You may not use the Services to originate, carry, transit, or terminate any call to a US domestic or interstate destination (including US toll-free numbers, US premium rate numbers, or any NANP number). This prohibition is absolute and without exception.

3.2 Fraud and Manipulation

You may not use the Services to engage in or facilitate:

  • International Revenue Share Fraud (IRSF): artificially generating call volume to international premium rate or revenue-sharing numbers;
  • Wangiri fraud: generating missed calls designed to prompt callback to high-cost destinations;
  • Traffic pumping or access stimulation;
  • SIM box operation or SIM farming;
  • Any scheme designed to generate fraudulent revenue through call completion, transit, or termination.

3.3 Caller ID Spoofing

You may not transmit calls with spoofed, falsified, or deliberately misleading caller line identification (CLI). Caller ID must accurately represent the originating party. Use of invalid, unallocated, or unassigned numbers as CLI is prohibited.

3.4 Robocalling and Mass Unsolicited Calls

You may not use the Services to send unsolicited mass voice calls, robocalls, or auto-dialed calls to consumers in violation of the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or equivalent legislation in any applicable jurisdiction.

3.5 Harassment and Harmful Content

You may not use the Services to make calls that are threatening, harassing, abusive, or designed to cause distress to the recipient.

3.6 Illegal Activity

You may not use the Services to facilitate, support, or engage in any activity that is unlawful in the jurisdiction of origin, the jurisdiction of termination, or under applicable US federal law.

3.7 Emergency Services Misuse

You may not represent to your own customers or end users that emergency calling (E911 or equivalent) is available via traffic routed through our Services. Do not route, or permit to be routed, any call intended to reach emergency services through our network.

3.8 Resale Without Compliance Obligation

If you resell the Services to downstream customers, you may not do so without binding those customers to usage restrictions equivalent to this AUP. You remain responsible for your downstream customers' compliance.

4. Traffic Monitoring and Enforcement

We actively monitor traffic patterns for indicators of fraud, abuse, or policy violation. Indicators that may trigger investigation or suspension include but are not limited to:

  • Abnormal answer-seizure ratios (ASR) to premium rate or revenue-share destinations;
  • Unusual call duration distributions;
  • High volume to a narrow set of destination prefixes inconsistent with legitimate business calling patterns;
  • CLI anomalies including invalid or unallocated originating numbers;
  • Traffic to US domestic or NANP destinations.

We may suspend traffic, block specific destination prefixes, or terminate your account without prior notice where we identify or reasonably suspect a violation of this AUP.

5. Reporting

If you become aware of misuse of your account credentials or SIP configuration that results in unauthorized traffic, you must notify us immediately at hello@tensairoutes.com. We will cooperate with you to investigate and limit further exposure, but we are not liable for charges incurred from unauthorized traffic where you have failed to secure your account credentials or SIP endpoint.

6. Cooperation with Authorities

We will cooperate with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and upstream carriers in the investigation of fraud, illegal activity, or regulatory violations. This may include disclosure of account information, CDRs, and traffic data pursuant to valid legal process.

7. Updates

We may update this AUP at any time. Updates will be posted at tensairoutes.com/aup. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
